STORMWATER POLAND 2023 EN

Ladies and Gentlemen,
During this year's Stormwater Poland, we want to look at rain from the perspective of adaptation and quality. First of all, we can already see the new financial perspective of the European Union, with the FEnIKS program at the forefront. We can look at climate change and rainwater in cities from different perspectives: city authorities who have to ensure their safety and resistance to climate change, producers whose devices and products are increasingly in line with the idea of green cities, and finally, residents, i.e. all of us who want to live in friendly, safe cities, where water is an ally, not an enemy.
Our ambition is to gain a broader perspective on the problem of rainwater. After all, the area of our operation is much wider than just rainwater retention and dealing with water drainage. The catastrophe on the Oder made us aware of the importance of the quality of water discharged into rivers through the photos of thousands of killed fish and aquatic animals. Can we take care of the quality of the catchment? Have we not already exhausted the capacity of the environment to buffer the burdens we impose on it, in the form of pollution, in the form of transforming nature, or the reduction of green spaces due to urbanization?
